Welcome to Animals with Disabilities!
Why is this important?
Many people wonder if these disabled pets should be saved. Our answer
is an unconditional YES!
The animals we encounter may have disabilities, but they don’t
consider themselves to be handicapped. We haven’t met an animal
yet that feels sorry for itself. As long as their special needs are
met, they are happy to be alive and loved. These animals are devoted,
energetic and happy! Generally, they are just like any other pet.
In fact, disabled animals are inspirational and develop extra special
bonds with their caregivers; they just might be the best pets you
will ever have!

be placed in an environment where there is appropriate space, human
contact, and a commitment to safeguarding and caring for the animal
throughout its entire life.
